Yeah, I think I saw you mention Blue Scholars somewhere when I first scanned your LJ. Sadly, I was too sick to see the last show they did down here in the Bay. Maybe I'll catch'em next time I'm in Seattle.
Oh, well, I know of the Blue Scholars... they played Capitol Hill a bunch when I lived up there. I didn't mean them though, I went to high school with the Hieroglyphics crew. I still even have my first mixtape from those guys. In all the photos taken on the high school grounds from the 90s you can see a three eyed face stuck on a post or wall.
Ha! Nice. I remember when I first moved down here, I was wearing a heiro T and walking down Market and this guy was rocking a heiro hoodie and we just nod, gave dap and kept moving without saying a word.
