Unwacking your LJ
Feb. 2nd, 2008 10:31 amLJ has been making a LOT of changes over the last year. None of them anything anyone really wanted.
Here's how you unwack things:
1. Go to your "account" on the top of the screen.
2. Near the bottom, under "Site", click "Viewing Options"
Viewing Options
- unclick Graphics Previews, if you don't want those obnoxious popup windows everytime you go over a link.
Additional Privacy Options
- Click "Exclude your entries from site explore areas" if you don't want LJ using your public posts as free advertising.
Adult content options
- You probably want to change "This journal contains" to "Adult concepts". Which is still stupid for them to filter, but whatever.
- Change "Viewing Adult Content" to "Do not collapse" if you don't want all of your friends' LJs to have "This site may contain adult material etc." especially if you're surfing at work.
3. "Save Changes" button at the bottom.
