Behind closed doors, people of color do not casually refer to white folks as crackers, ofays, or honkies in the same way white people casually refer to us as niggers, chinks, wetbacks, gooks, towelheads, etc.

I suppose that is because despite mounting evidence to believe otherwise, we still think of you as people.

Addition:

And as I unpack that thought a bit more, the "mounting evidence" is really the fact that damn well daily in the news we get to hear about someone killed, injustly imprisoned, unserved and unprotected by the government whom they've paid taxes to, getting nooses, death threats and other forms of terrorism for going to school etc, based on race.

You know America, we really need you to deal with your terrorism, because we're tired of it.

This is so true. After all the shit they put us through you would think otherwise, but we just don't do it (even though, in my opinion, we have every right to).

You know America, we really need you to deal with your terrorism, because we're tired of it.
