I grew up in Southern California, so I had always lived with this guy's ads. The first time I went to the Pacific Northwest, it was because a college up here was recruiting me. My parents and I checked into our motel room and turned on the TV, and the first damn thing we saw was a Cal Worthington comercial, because that was when he was just starting to expand into the Puget Sound area.
