So part of the reason I've been looking forward to this game is that it's a game about women of color that a) isn't sexualizing/exotifying them, b) isn't on some bullshit "And now we go shopping!" gender hustle.

If you think there needs to be more videogames, more works of art with women of color, as legit characters, not as masturbation material, or bullshit, if you think histories of POC deserve to get in media, please drop $5 or $10 on this project.

I can't find any info about it outside the kickstart page, and that page mentions facebook and the social elements. I'm not found of facebook in the least. Is there a main website?

The basic gameplay element is this - you end up with various problems while trying to manage your nation - "A new group of traders have come from the east, to establish relations should we:" and it'll give you a list of options like, "Give them tariff free trade for a year", "Turn them down", "Give them the smae rate as anyone else" etc.

But you can choose to put one of your advisors on the task to come up with other solutions - which takes time.

The social part is that your friends can also help you and create other solutions through a polling mechanism.

So, you could solo the game, or have your friends help out, but you're not required to.

Anyway, I'm supporting this because I know the folks and because I have a general policy of supporting actually progressive games.
